Role of education
It is obvious that our younger colleagues are eager to enlarge their acquired scholar knowledge by the techniques necessary for the exercise of our profession. That is the reason why ACI Education is providing a globally acknoledged portfolio of examinations aimed at new entrants to the industry. Frankfurt School of Finance & Management
On 18th February 2008, ACI The Financial Markets Association signed an Education Managing Services Agreement with the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. According to the contract, it will be a main focus of Frankfurt School to assist ACI to maintain the quality of ACI education programmes and examinations and to implement a programme development strategy. The ACI Global Education Centre is based in Frankfurt/Germany at Frankfurt School and will be managed by a Director of Education ACI.
Seminars
But learning is a lifelong process, compulsory for even the most experienced dealer willing to maintain her/his professional value. This is especially true in a financial environment whose main feature is not a slow and linear innovation process, but periods of 'product explosions' followed by steadier times. Quick updating of knowhow leads to a competitive advantage, always the key for success. One role of a national ACI association is therefore also to promote continuos education efforts through conferences, work shops and seminars.
